"We obtained 3 quotes for the replacement/installation of a glass door for our shower remodel. We ended up going with The Glass Guru of Edmond. I’m really around a 3.5 star review, but went with 4 and will explain below.

The Glass Guru came to our house, took detailed measurements, and provided a quote. They explained, in detail, the process regarding deposit, order and installation. Between providing the quote and ordering, I made some changes to the hardware and The Glass Guru was very responsive and attentive to me via email and phone.

The door, hardware and fixed glass portion of the shower look great! I’m providing a 4 (3.5) star rating for the following reasons:
During the initial installation the tech advised if the shower door leaked excessively underneath they would come back and put a rubber piece on the bottom of the door. The door did leak underneath and we notified The Glass Guru the very next day after installation. It took over a week for them to come back and install the piece. The piece did greatly help the water seepage from under the door, but why not install it from the get go if you have a good idea water is going to seep under the door??

Some of the hinge screw heads are stripped and one of the screws isn’t even flush with the hinge base. The silicone caulking around the fixed portion of glass is uneven and appears to have been laid “in haste”. Can I redo the caulk and make it more visually appealing? Yes, but why should I have to on a brand new door??

Overall, I would recommend The Glass Guru for your shower door needs. The door and hardware look great from afar, but attention to details on the install are what takes away a star (or even two) from the rating."
