I bought a house that had 20 out of 24 windows with bad seals. Crazy, I know. Glass Guru gave me a reasonable quote. I had a surprise business trip that forced me to move my installation date and they worked with my schedule. The gentlemen that they sent to do the work were good at what they do, clean, polite, and good conversation when I asked questions or they had questions for me. I was thoroughly impressed with their work and fully recommend them to others.
We were updating a corner shower unit in our main bathroom. Rick did an incredible job at accurately measuring all the required glass. The installation, by David and Jack, was completed with outstanding craftsmanship. The door gap is incredibly consistant along its 7 foot height. We and other family members have used these guys on may projects.
Needed help repairing two windows that had small panes crack. The Glass Guru responded very quickly, got me a quote, scheduled the work and completed the job all in a matter of a few days and did fantastic work, would absolutely use them again in the future!

Had a window sash with broken glass. I used to get a replacement sash directly from the manufacturer but they no longer have my necessary model parts and they've doubled their prices, so they recommended using a glass repair company. I used glass guru because they were closest to my house. I saved money by bringing the sash in myself vs. them coming out to measure, repair, and install. I brought in the sash to first be measured, put 50% down, and then return with the sash again when the glass came in. It only took about 10 business days or so, which wasn't bad. Found them to be very friendly and helpful through the process and easy to work with. Price isn't cheap even without in-home visit, but none of these places are. I have another window sash that is fogged up now and will likely come back and replace it with Glass Guru as well in the near future.
I used Glass Guru to replace a cracked window in our house. My experience with this company was a pleasure from start to finish. Both workmen who came to my house, one to measure the glass and the other to install the glass, were professional, polite, and pleasant. I am satisfied in all respects. I had 4 windows where the double pane seals broke. My house is 16 years old. I had 3 well known window Companies give me bids to replace half and all the windows: very very expensive. I shared them with My sister, who is very familiar and experienced in the building materials field. She stated that my windows were still very good and Call Glass Guru and get an estimate on the windows that had the broken gas permeable seals. I was shocked. The sales rep came out and told me he could sell me new windows but told me my windows were fine and to replace the needed windows. For a fraction of the cost I replaced the glass in the windows. How about $1500 instead of $40,000!!!!.

Shower panel company suggested we contact Basco. We did but weren’t happy with their suggestion of a slider which would give us only a 21” opening. Glass Guru was my next call. They were able to give us the wider opening with the door opening rather than sliding and we love it. Installation was great. They suggested Hydroshield glass treatment and we were very happy with that company as well. He was able to come out the next day and even with our well water the glass drys completely clear!
The Glass Guru technician was knowledgeable, curteous and respectful. He provided various options to solve the problems. After 28 years most of the windows were hard to operate. The solutions was affordable. The installer went above and beoynd to do the job right. I will use their services in the future. I highly recommend them.
Understood our desire of trim for our Master Bathroom mirror, and Rick detailed and measured accordingly. Mirror was ready in a reasonable time frame, the installation crew did a very good job. We’d use them again.
Took 2 glass panels from an old dresser to be resized for our new dresser. They explained that since it was old glass that there may be issues when cutting it, which we agreed to. A few minutes later, the cut pieces were returned, we paid and left the store. The person at the front desk was very personable.
The actual work done from the installers was fantastic. They were on time and the product looks great. They came out cheaper than I thought . Very impressed. The one criticism is from the communication through email. I got two-word emails and it felt very unprofessional. Would still very much use them again.

I had never purchased anything from Glass Guru before, but someone recommended them. All I needed was an 8” x 8” flat piece of mirror. They were quick and professional. And it only cost four dollars! Thanks for the work. I’ll definitely come back if I need anything else.
Window replacement was very smooth. It’s like you can just contact them and sit back. They do the right thing. Also they will let you know if anything is not required. Not commercial at all. Hired them to replace two pieces of glass in two double pane windows that failed and to make a beautiful 3 piece glass table top protector. The window glass looks great, their now clear and air tight. The table top protectors were perfectly cut and beveled and fits our dining room table perfectly. They're responsive and quick. Called another company first and couldn't even get measurements scheduled. Said they would call back to schedule and never did. Glad they didn't! Couldn't be happier with the Glass Guru's.

Company kept all appointments as scheduled. Good communications from office staff. Ordered window parts, received, and installed in the timeframe they quoted. I dealt with estimator and installer, Rick and Randy. Both employees arrived on time during two different visits to our home and both were very friendly, knowledgeable, and performed their respective duties correctly the first time out. Hopefully, if any warranty work is required, Glass Guru will be just as attentive. At this point, I would again use and recommend Glass Guru.
I dropped off a custom frame that needed a mirror, and a door to a barrister's bookcase that needed the glass replaced. They quoted me a fair price and completed both in about 4 hours, so I was able to pick them up the same day. I had a water leak that required taking down a big bathroom mirror. They were great from start to finish- including making sure not to damage the mirror so that it could be put back up once the repair was complete. We've lived in our house 12 years and our shower doors were permanently discolored from years of mildew. The team at Glass Guru did a fantastic job installing new glass for our shower! The new glass is gorgeous, it's extra tall, and a nice soft brushed nickel color on the metal pieces. From the very start, Lloyd was professional, polite, and committed to providing the service I needed. I was given a quote prior to the work being done, and it was the exact amount they charged at the end. Luke and Randy were punctual for my appointment to install a full-length glass insert into my existing solid fiberglass front door. They meticulously cut out the exact size needed, installed the insert I had ordered from another company, and ensured that it sealed and looked beautiful before leaving. So pleased doesn't seem like a strong enough thing to say with my newly customized Anderson Patio Door with dog door. Glass Guru has enhanced my life and that of my 3 dogs. Far less expensive than replacing the slider, our new glass insert with dog door was expertly installed and in the time promised. When the grids were installed incorrectly, it was Glass Guru's team who noticed and had it redone in less than 24 hours so the door could be installed in time for Mother's Day family. I am a Remodeling Contractor here in Mason. I like using local companies whenever possible on my jobs. I needed some custom cut beveled glass mirrors for a master bath and thought I would give Glass Guru a shot. Great experience all around. Hello neighbors! I’m Lisa Chambers, owner of The Glass Guru of Mason since 2017.
I grew up in Edina, Minnesota, went to Edina High School, and then college at the University of Minnesota in Duluth, Minnesota where I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2001. Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in marketing and customer service at Tender Hearts Home Care for five years.
I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy helping our community and wanted to build something that would allow my family more freedom. What attracted me to The Glass Guru was the opportunity to offer a service that we needed and struggled to find a provider for. What I like most about this business is helping clients solve their problems.
Outside of work, I enjoy tennis. My spouse, John of 25 years, and I have two kids Jack, 23, and Maddie, 20, and Bear, our Bernese mountain dog. On weekends you might find us at a pool, playing tennis, or walking the dog around the neighborhood.
