Pete Candito,
Owner

Hello. I’m Pete Candito, and I’m proud to serve the North Raleigh community as the owner of The Glass Guru of North Raleigh.
Originally from Middletown, New York, I earned a degree in Chemical Engineering from Villanova University and have spent nearly 30 years working in a wide range of engineering, supply chain, and project management roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. My career has taken me through both domestic and international assignments, where I developed a strong focus on problem solving, operational excellence, and delivering results.
After many years in the corporate world, I was ready for a new challenge—one that would allow me to apply my experience in a more hands-on way while working directly with people in the community. The Glass Guru offered the perfect opportunity to tackle a variety of projects and help homeowners and business owners resolve real issues with practical, high-quality solutions.
Since moving to Raleigh in 2008, I’ve come to appreciate the energy and growth of this community, and I’m excited to contribute by providing reliable glass repair, restoration, and installation services across the North Raleigh area.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching sports, spending time outdoors with my sons, and playing guitar and piano.
Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business. We look forward to serving you.

What causes glass to crack spontaneously?
Spontaneous cracking can result from stress in the glass, temperature changes, frame pressure, or defects. We can assess broken glass to help identify the cause.

Yes. We provide consultations to assess your needs, explain options, and answer questions before you decide to move forward.
How do you protect my home during installation?
We use drop cloths, protective coverings, and careful work practices to protect floors, furniture, and surrounding areas during every project.
What if the glass size I need is not standard?
