11/18/2025 Called The Glass Guru at 8:41am for a quote. At 11:10am they were finished with the install. Corey and his team were great. Very professional and the communication was outstanding. I was expecting the total for the repair of my bedroom window to be a lot higher in price. The past few days were rainy and the wettest it’s been for so.cal in a while and there were no signs that it was going to stop. I thought for sure there was going to be an added cost because Corey’s crew had to come out in the rain amd work. To my surprise the value I received on the work performed was excellent! If you are looking for fast, honest, and great work. Don’t hesitate to call Corey at The Glass Guru’s of Torrance. Corey and his team were great in entirely replacing my large sliding glass door. I moved into a home that was flipped and the retrofit sliding glass door was not installed with the proper water proofing. After some rain the entire frame started separating from the house and causing damage. Corey walked me through what the issue was and what our options were. Replacing the whole door wasn’t cheap, but it was well worth it since it was done correctly and it is a focal point of our house. Shoutout to Albert as well who took care of the jack hammering, stucco, painting, etc.

Go with Glass Guru! Just Do It! I hired a different company to install 4 large mirrors in my gym/garage conversion. The 5 star rated business improperly installed the mirrors (j channel system) and it was so tight a mirror cracked after just one day. The molding trims were also a bit mangled with all of the rough handling the installer used (rubber mallet, nails and screws that were not part of the system, and placing one of the mirrors directly over a live electrical outlet). It was a mess. The Glass Guru guys were great. Corey came out promptly to assess the mess. He offered several options – working with the remaining mirrors only, using a mix of my mirrors paired with one or two he could order, etc. I appreciated the solutions offered. Upon removing the mirrors, we found all of them to be damaged – multiple chips and long scratches on each of the mirrors along the top and bottom as they were forced into the J channel and dragged over nails that weren’t part to the assembly system. It was a complete mess. Corey explained how the mirrors would continue to have issues with all of the damage they had. I decided to simply let him chose mirrors (two beautiful 5’ x 6’ panels, higher quality and more of a studio look) and trim set for them. The project was absolutely beautiful! It was well beyond what I was planning to spend, but the the outcome was professional, solid and exceeds all expectations I had. Corey and his team (Manny and Ricardo) were respectful, polite, knowledgeable and professional. “Glass Guru” is now my ‘Go To’ for any glass/mirror/difficult projects. Call Corey and get it done! New job…just as wonderful. About a year after Corey’s wonderful job on the huge gym/garage mirrors, I needed help with a completely different issue. A double paned side lite panel (the kind that open and close) shattered in my home. It was just before the holiday season and the Glass Guru crew was booked solid. Corey was able to send out his guys to clean up the mess (shards of glass), take measurements, and provide security for my home with a strong plywood covering until they could obtain the custom glass for the following week’s appointment. The new window is lovely. It matches its twin perfectly, sits perfectly in the existing frame, and opens/closes with ease. Corey’s guys did a great job prepping the area and cleaning up after the job and polishing the finished product. Great job once again. I very highly recommend Corey and his Glass Guru team. A++++
