Hello neighbors! I’m Michael Bean, owner of The Glass Guru of Fort Collins since 2024.
I grew up in Denver, Colorado, where I went to Adams City High School. After graduating, I went to school at Front Range Community College where I studied Water/Wastewater Treatment Technology.
Prior to The Glass Guru, I was overseeing large construction projects for wastewater treatment plants for 30 years. I first started in the glass industry when I worked on commercial glass installation at The Denver Museum. After that, I worked on residential glass projects for seven years. I started The Glass Guru because I was looking to be in charge of my own future and help others in the process. I enjoy achieving goals, both mine and my customers, so The Glass Guru is the perfect fit. I am extremely proud of the detail my team puts into every job and take pride in every job we complete with success.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children and grandchildren, working on classic cars, and putting my carpentry and other remodeling skills to use. On the weekends, you can probably find me in my shop or at the shooting range. My wife and I have been married for 38 years, and together we have two daughters, six grandchildren, a horse, two miniature donkeys, three goats, three dogs, one cat, and a coop of chickens. We have so much love to go around in our family!
