Hello neighbors! I’m Dan Cook, owner of The Glass Guru of Duluth since 2016. I grew up in the Duluth area, went to Proctor High School, and then college at Duluth Technical College where I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in glass and windows while in the construction business for 28 years. I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy helping people and wanted to have a positive impact on my community. What attracted me to the franchise model was how it is a residential glass business that was customer service oriented. I am extremely proud of our reputation and the number of jobs completed for our happy customers.
Outside of work, I enjoy sailing. My wife Rachell and I have a son who is our lead estimator and a daughter who is a director at a local hospital. On weekends you might find us sailing on Lake Superior.
