OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY

The Glass Guru Enterprises, Inc. (“TGGE” or “The Glass Guru”) is committed to providing individuals with disabilities with access to the information, functionality, and digital services available through www.theglassguru.com and other TGGE-operated websites or digital experiences that link to this Accessibility Statement (collectively, the “Site”).

The Glass Guru wants customers, prospective customers, prospective franchisees, job applicants, and other visitors to be able to obtain information and use the Site successfully, including individuals who use assistive technologies or alternative methods of accessing digital content.

ACCESSIBILITY STANDARD AND ONGOING EFFORT

Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort. TGGE is working toward substantial conformance of the Site with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (“W3C”), as an accessibility standard for the Site.

WCAG provides technical guidance intended to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. TGGE uses WCAG as a framework for evaluating and improving the accessibility of the Site. This statement of our accessibility goal is not intended to represent that every page, feature, document, or third-party component currently satisfies every WCAG success criterion.

OUR ACCESSIBILITY EFFORTS

As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, TGGE may use a combination of design, development, testing, monitoring, remediation, training, and vendor-management practices. Depending on the content or functionality involved, these efforts may include:

  • evaluating Site content and functionality against applicable WCAG Level A and Level AA success criteria;
  • supporting keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
  • using meaningful headings, labels, link text, and structural markup where appropriate;
  • providing text alternatives for meaningful non-text content where appropriate;
  • considering color contrast, text resizing, zoom, and the use of color in conveying information;
  • working to make forms, form instructions, validation messages, and error identification accessible;
  • supporting compatibility with commonly used screen readers and other assistive technologies where reasonably practicable;
  • providing captions, transcripts, or other alternatives for multimedia content where appropriate;
  • reviewing menus, dialogs, pop-ups, carousels, maps, chat tools, and other interactive components for accessibility;
  • considering accessibility when adding or updating downloadable documents and other digital content;
  • periodically testing or reviewing Site accessibility and addressing identified barriers based on their nature, severity, impact, and available remediation;
  • providing accessibility guidance or training to personnel whose responsibilities affect digital content or Site functionality; and
  • communicating accessibility expectations to technology vendors and other third parties that provide components or services used in connection with the Site.

ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE AND ALTERNATIVE METHODS

If you have difficulty accessing or using any portion of the Site because of a disability, or if an accessibility barrier prevents you from obtaining information, submitting a request, or using Site functionality, please contact us.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, communication, or functionality you are seeking through an accessible alternative method where appropriate and consistent with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, an alternative method may include assistance by telephone, email, or another reasonable means.

When contacting us about an accessibility issue, it is helpful if you identify the webpage, document, form, feature, or other content involved and briefly describe the difficulty you experienced. If you use a particular assistive technology, browser, or device and believe that information would help us understand the issue, you may include it, but you are not required to disclose information about your disability.

ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGIES

The Site is intended to be usable with a range of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies. Individuals may access digital content using technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification software, speech-recognition software, keyboard navigation, captions, or other accessibility tools.
Because combinations of operating systems, browsers, assistive technologies, devices, and user settings vary, we cannot guarantee that every combination will provide an identical experience. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us so that we can work with you to provide access or an alternative method where appropriate.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT, TOOLS, AND SERVICES

The Site may contain, display, link to, or integrate content, applications, widgets, maps, videos, scheduling tools, payment or financing services, review platforms, social-media features, chat functionality, or other technology provided or operated by third parties.

TGGE does not control independently operated third-party websites or platforms and cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or functionality controlled exclusively by those third parties. We nevertheless encourage third-party vendors that provide digital services or components used in connection with the Site to support accessibility and to address accessibility barriers within their control.

If a third-party component creates an accessibility barrier that prevents you from obtaining information or using functionality available through the Site, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to assist you or provide an accessible alternative where appropriate.

INDEPENDENTLY OWNED AND OPERATED FRANCHISE LOCATIONS

The Glass Guru franchise locations are independently owned and operated by independent franchisees. TGGE is the franchisor of The Glass Guru franchise system and does not control the day-to-day operations of independently owned franchise businesses.

This Accessibility Statement applies to the Site and other digital experiences operated by or on behalf of TGGE that link to this Statement. An independently owned franchisee may operate its own social-media account, digital platform, or other technology that is not operated or controlled by TGGE. Accessibility questions concerning an independently operated franchisee website or digital property should generally be directed to the applicable franchisee.

If you are unsure whether a digital property is operated by TGGE or an independently owned franchisee, you may contact us for assistance.

ACCESSIBILITY OF SERVICES AT FRANCHISE LOCATIONS

Accessibility of physical locations, in-person services, communications, or accommodations provided by an independently owned The Glass Guru franchise business is the responsibility of the applicable franchisee, subject to applicable law. If you need an accommodation in connection with services provided by a franchise location, please communicate the request directly to that location so it can address the request based on the circumstances and applicable requirements.

FEEDBACK

We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of the Site. Accessibility feedback helps us identify barriers and opportunities to improve the digital experience. You may provide feedback using the accessibility contact information above.

Submitting accessibility feedback or requesting assistance will not affect your ability to request information or services through The Glass Guru.

CHANGES TO THIS ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our accessibility practices, applicable standards, or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Statement identifies the most recent revision.
