Hello! I’m Craig Amick, owner of The Glass Guru of Gurnee. I joined The Glass Guru family in 2026 after a long career in enterprise software sales.
I’ve called Chicago home since 2015, where I live with my wife and our two children—one currently in college and the other in high school.
After years in the technology industry, I knew I wanted my next chapter to be in the home services business. What attracted me to The Glass Guru was the opportunity to serve a real need while bringing a strong commitment to customer service to an industry where that experience can sometimes be lacking. I’m excited to build on The Glass Guru’s reputation and serve homeowners and businesses throughout Lake County and the surrounding communities.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me following my son’s baseball and football teams, traveling, attending concerts, or catching a Cubs game. I also enjoy making the occasional trip back to Norman, Oklahoma to cheer on my alma mater. Baseball is an especially big part of my life—I have a part-time job with Major League Baseball, so during the season there’s a good chance you’ll find me at Wrigley Field or Rate Field. In the offseason, I’m usually at one of my son’s games or enjoying a concert somewhere.
