Hello neighbors! We are Alexis Hernandez and Raymond Minter, co-owners of The Glass Guru of Port St. Lucie since 2023.
Alexis – I am originally from Puerto Rico, went to Gateway High School in Kissimmee, FL and then attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL where I graduated with a degree in finance.
Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in business management, startups, and B2B sales after starting my own business 15 years ago. I started The Glass Guru because I take pride in everything I do and enjoy putting a smile on every customer’s face. What attracted me to The Glass Guru was a growing industry with a proven business system. I am extremely proud of the location’s growth and development. What I like most about this business is the support I receive from the team and the learning experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife of 16 years, my 8-year-old son, and my 3-year-old daughter. On weekends, you might find us at the park with our two cavalier spaniel puppies or escaping to the mountains.
It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.
Raymond – I am originally from Miami, Florida, and went to North Miami Senior High.
Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in business and marketing when I started my own business at 23. I expanded my automotive reconditioning company throughout the state of Florida, and it is still thriving today. I also co-founded a non-emergency medical transport company that I grew to 12 full-time employees and after seven years I felt like it was time to move on. That’s where I discovered The Glass Guru and immediately fell in love with the concept.
I started The Glass Guru because I was looking for a corporate backbone and wanted to provide the absolute best service to my community. What attracted me to The Glass Guru was the support and business practices they carry out. I am extremely proud to be able to provide a great work environment for my employees, where they are proud to come to work every day and make a great living for their families.
