It's great when you get good service from a company, but to get EXCEPTIONAL service is rare. That's what I experienced at the Glass Guru in Olathe. On the night of March 4th a blizzard caused 60 mph winds to blow out my basement window breaking all of its glass and exposing our home to 28 degree cold and blasting winds. I took the window to The Glass Guru and I could not have been treated better. Bre stopped what she was doing and immediately started cutting glass and fixing my window frame. Doing so was difficult because the weather had caused a power outage in their shop, so she had to work around many obstacles. Meanwhile Curtis gave instructions to me on how to reinstall the window once it was restored. He looked up photos of my window frame type and walked me through the process. All of this was done while I waited. I had expected to have to wait for days to get the window repaired. We had the glass guru replace our sliding glass window with a doggy door. It looks amazing. For the last two years we used a doggy door insert. It let in so much cold air and meant you could only open the door half way. If you’re on the fence, get one. My dogs love it, it looks amazing, and doesn’t let in cold air.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Seriously, I would. We used their service to replace a large (72” x 35”) picture window in our kitchen that was cracked. The entire Glass Guru operation (from estimation, scheduling and installation) was professional, courteous and responsive.
In a day and age where it just seems like no one wants to work anymore, Glass Guru is a breath of fresh air when calling a service company. They even showed up on time, called before hand, asked if then needed to remove their shoes before entering my home and cleaned up their mess afterward. Ha, Crazy right?
The only slow up in the job was actually getting the window made and shipped for them to install. It took almost 2 months given the window sizing and is no fault of theirs.

We did have our appointment rescheduled because the crew got hung up at an unexpected issue on a job, but we were rescheduled about 3 business days out from there. They found a crack in a storm window when fixing the one we scheduled for so they didn’t have the glass for that but they took it to the shop to fix and bring back that day. For the basement window he gave me a heads up that he might break the other panel while getting the broken one out but he would just replace it (no additional cost). The entire Glass Guru operation (from estimation, scheduling and installation) was professional, courteous and responsive.
In a day and age where it just seems like no one wants to work anymore, Glass Guru is a breath of fresh air when calling a service company. They even showed up on time, called before hand, asked if then needed to remove their shoes before entering my home and cleaned up their mess afterward. Ha, Crazy right?
The only slow up in the job was actually getting the window made and shipped for them to install. It took almost 2 months given the window sizing and is no fault of theirs.

We did have our appointment rescheduled because the crew got hung up at an unexpected issue on a job, but we were rescheduled about 3 business days out from there. They found a crack in a storm window when fixing the one we scheduled for so they didn’t have the glass for that but they took it to the shop to fix and bring back that day. For the basement window he gave me a heads up that he might break the other panel while getting the broken one out but he would just replace it (no additional cost).
