Owner

Hello neighbors! I’m Daniel Jordan, owner of The Glass Guru of Columbia since 2021. I grew up in the Greenville, SC area, went to Lower Richland High School, and then college at Midlands Tech where I graduated with a degree in Electronics in 1992.

Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in sales and management as an operations manager for a local glass company. I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy meeting people and wanted to have a positive impact on my community in a trade I know extremely well. I am extremely proud of the great team I have put together.

Outside of work, I enjoy doing anything around water. My wife Jackie is a county agriculture agent and my oldest stepson, Jaxon is a senior at the University of South Carolina while my youngest stepson, Pierce, is a freshman at Midland Technical College. On weekends you might find us at the beach, the lake, the pool, or the golf course.

It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.

"The Glass Guru is great to work with, they have now replaced all the glass in our windows and doors and the difference is amazing. Customer service is awesome from initial estimate through installation. The installers, Mike and Matt, were professional and very skilled in all they did! "I had a great experience with The Glass Guru! Mark and Mike came out several times and each time they were nice and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. They installed the new shower doors yesterday and explained how to best keep them clean seeing as we are on well water and it’s hard water. I would absolutely recommend this company."

"I recently ran across The Glass Guru at last Springs Carolina Classic Home Show at the Fairgrounds in March. Told them I would need two shower doors in the near future. The doors were installed yesterday and are beautiful. Daniel was on top of everything from the start and Mark was on time with the installation. I will definitely recommend this company in the future.
