Hello neighbors! I’m Stewart Jimmerson, owner of The Glass Guru of Columbus GA since November 2020.

I grew up in the Columbus, Georgia area, went to Shaw High School and then college at Columbus Technical College in Columbus, GA where I studied machine shop and welding in 1986. Prior to The Glass Guru, I gained valuable experience in customer service, sales, and business management with 36 Years in the beverage business from entry-level to the GM leading a team of more than 300 employee-partners in achieving and exceeding company goals.

I started The Glass Guru because I enjoy helping people and wanted to have a positive impact on my community. What attracted me to The Glass Guru brand was the proven business model. I am extremely proud of building something for my son to have an opportunity to take over one day. What I like most about this business is helping customers with our unique window and door solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren. My spouse, who runs our front office, and I have three adult kids, Kendall, Neil, and Katherine. We will always cherish our family Lab mix, Roxie. On weekends you might find me on the tractor doing something on the farm or spending time with my family I cherish.

It’s a great honor and privilege to have the opportunity to serve you and we hope to be the local glass shop you can trust and rely on for many years to come.
