The Glass Guru COVID-19 Protocols

The Glass Guru takes the safety of our customers and team members seriously. We have been very fortunate in being designated an “Essential Service” during the Covid-19 Pandemic and have been allowed to continue operating when many other businesses have been forced to close. As such, we continue operating responsibly, by taking all available precautions to help ensure the safety of our customers and our staff.

We recommend our indepdenent franchise owners implement the following protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace:

For the Safety of Your Customers:

  • Instruct employees who have a fever, are not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 to stay home.
  • Instruct employees to only enter customer’s homes if, and for only as long as is absolutely necessary
  • Instruct employees to wear a mask, booties and gloves while inside customer’s homes.
  • Instruct employees to wash or sanitize their hands before AND after every appointment, and after entering a store or pumping gas.
  • Request customers to avoid being in the same room while work is being performed, whenever possible.
  • Instruct employees to thoroughly clean and sanitize their tools and vehicle daily.

For the Safety of Your Team:

  • Instruct employees who have a fever or are not feeling well, to please report it to a supervisor as soon as possible and DO NOT come to work.
  • Instruct employees who have had prolonged close contact with, or are known to have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, to please notify their supervisor immediately to determine the proper course of action.
  • Instruct employees to wash their hands frequently throughout the day, using soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Instruct employees to thoroughly clean and sanitize their immediate workspace and all equipment they have come in contact with daily.
  • Instruct employees to maintain a minimum of 6 foot distance between themselves and customers and/or other employees.
  • Instruct employees to wear a mask whenever customers are in your, or when working within 6 feet of another employee.
