Hello neighbors! We’re Michael and Valarie Gomm, owners of The Glass Guru of Wichita. As the majority owner, Valarie is excited to be a part of Wichita’s thriving Woman-Owned Business (WBE) community. 

Prior to The Glass Guru, Valarie gained valuable experience in retail and banking before she decided to focus on her organizational skills being the full-time CFO and COO of Gomm Enterprises. Michael spent 20-plus years in Wichita’s aerospace industry.  

We started The Glass Guru because we enjoy helping and meeting new people and wanted to have a positive impact on the community.  What attracted us to The Glass Guru was the great long-term business potential the service trades and glass segment have for the foreseeable future. I am extremely proud of how our team has established its value-driven, high-touch, high-customer service niche in the community.  

Outside of work, we enjoy being a part of their community by volunteering and judging at local craft beer events and being an active member on the City Council District IV Advisory Board for seven years.  We have been married for 30 years and have three sons, Joshua, Daniel, and Elijah as well as a grandson Stetson. Our sons also help in the business with installations, shop work, and event trade shows.
